Under the responsibility of Cell 2 and in close collaboration with the Medical, PCA, Safeguarding and Humanitarian Affairs teams, support in the design and direct implementation of the strategy for responding to violence in Tera and Diffa (Niger) and Koro and Menaka (Mali) with the overall objective to assist direct and indirect victims of violence and integrate protection measures to alleviate suffering, restore dignity, create safe spaces of humanity

Expériences / Formation

  • University degree in Health, Social Sciences or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manager in a humanitarian response in a conflict setting,
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management related to protection and response to violence in humanitarian contexts.
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative assessment methods, report writing, and knowledge of Logical Framework (Logframe) design will be considered an asset.
  • Fluency in French is required. English will be considered an asset.
  • Availability and willingness to be deployed to MSF projects in the Sahel region is required.
  • Previous field experience with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) will be considered a strong asset.

Salaire

  • Frequently travels to the missions (at least 50% of the time). Homebased position when not deployed.
  • Full time position.
  • For the position and if the candidate selected is authorized to reside and work in Spain, the salary will be at 34,989 € (Level 5 according to IRP2 as entry point). If the candidate selected is resident out of Spain, the compensation will be subject to the local pay scale applicable to that country.
  • Practical working conditions while in the field are as per MSF-OCBA guidelines.
  • Contract duration: until December 2026, with possible extension.
  • Starting date: Mid-august.
