GENERAL CONTEXT
Médecins Sans Frontières is an international independent medical-humanitarian organization, which offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation.

MAIN PURPOSE
To lead and conduct administrative investigations into abuse and safeguarding incidents, ensuring rigorous case management, data integrity, and adherence to MSF standards. The role contributes to a safe working environment by enabling timely, ethical and survivor-centred responses to SEAH and other misconduct cases.
JOB OVERVIEW
The SEA & Safeguarding Investigation Officer is responsible for the intake, assessment, triage, and investigation of SEAH and safeguarding allegations within MSF OCBA, including those involving partner organizations. The role ensures that incidents are managed in line with confidentiality, data-protection requirements, and MSF procedures. It provides technical guidance to field teams on reporting, case management and immediate protective measures, while conducting survivor-centred interviews and reviewing evidence. The officer analyzes case trends, supports training activities, and contributes to reporting and policy development within the Ethics & Behaviour Unit.
